Food Styling Prep & Lighting

Food & Beverage imaging requires experience, skill, proper styling. It's an art. Pre-planning, shopping, the right ingredients, gadgetry, prep time go into the making of a good food shoot.  Dishes, silverware, glasses, set design, skilled lighting,  team work create stunning results for mixed media presentation and point of purchase sales.  It's always suggested to hire a food stylist when shooting food.  A stylist ** knows how to prepare the food, the dishes and the glassware just right for the camera.

**The food stylists we use mainly, is acclaimed Martha Torres, of Style List Inc. We hire her company our assignments. Her companies skill, art and professionalism  make the difference in many of our food and commercial assignments. We use her company for projects that also require location prep.

TV shows you see about milk that's glue on cereal, ice cubes that are acrylic, fake ice cream and blow torches used to create grill marks on steak ....are all true! It takes the Skill of a good Photographer to make that all come to life through lighting and a great food stylist to design the ingredients of a thought provoking dish.
